The Datacard® Artista™ custom card printer opens a new world of card marketing opportunity by making it fast, easy and affordable to print small quantities of highly personalized, full-color cards on demand. Any image you can see, create or imagine can be added to cards and placed in cardholders’ hands in a matter of days, instead of weeks or months.
The system digitally merges photos, artwork, fixed data and variable data—then prints the entire surface of a card, at speeds of up to 1,000 cards per hour. This digital process allows you to make each card in a print run unique, with minimal operator intervention and no need for film, plates or setup. It is equally cost-effective to print in quantities of one or one thousand.

Pilot Program
Effective June 4, 2002 to December 31, 2002, Datacard is offering an Artista Printer Pilot Program designed to allow potential Artista Printer customers to test their markets using digital card production. This pilot program allows customers to prove a concept, test the waters of digital card printing and develop strategies to provide quick turns on card requests. Key to this program is a 50% rebate of their "pilot costs" towards the purchase of a new Artista Printer, if purchase occurs within the six-month evaluation period following the pilot.
Pilot Program Services
The Artista Printer Pilot Program consists of three services: 1) card composition, 2) card proof and, 3) card production. Each of these services will be performed by the Datacard ID Services Group. Along with the above outlined pilot program, Datacard provides customers with a full range of services designed to help with all aspects of Artista’s printing capabilities. Additional services available include planning, implementing and training services, image digitizing, and hardware support services.
